I want you to know something.
Something important.
Something that you thought you knew already.
I'm not a puppet for you to yank around as you wish.

I want you to see something.
Something unreal.
Something that you never could see on your own.
I'm not a bird in your hand that you can croon your lies over.

I want you to feel something.
Something special.
Something that you don't seem capable of feeling.
I'm not a pillow for you to cuddle when you're lonely and missing her.

I want you to do something.
Something meaningful.
Something for me; a final goodbye.
I want you to let me go, and never look back, because you're hurting me more than ever, with your furtive glances and undecided ways.

oh my. :D i love poems like this that tackle all of the human senses leading up to a climax, that's kind of predictable and unseen at the same time. ^-^ hurrah!
